Whether you’re in an urban area in a small apartment, or working with a large, rural property, permaculture design offers a unique set of tools and solutions to increase your positive ecological impact and resiliency portfolio, while decreasing your dependence on outside inputs. Permaculture empowers us to prepare for the worst case scenarios, while simultaneously creating the best case scenarios.
Since 2016, Fern Hollow Designs LLC has been consulting, designing, and installing native, ecological, edible, and medicinal landscaping, and regenerative agricultural systems, including earthworks, natural building, masonry, and relevant construction services, to accommodate whole-project designs for individual property owners, businesses, non-profit organizations, and public agencies. Clients include the Athens County Public Libraries, the Ohio University Child Development Center, Athens Nature Conservancy, Pivot Point Speech Therapy, Alton RV Park, and many other commercial and private clientele across Ohio and beyond.

Connect with us
We undertake design consultation work year-round with a $500 project minimum. We are currently accepting new design and install clients with a $3K project minimum. Maintenance services are on a TBD basis.
